Grupango Fishing Charters
Book your next trip with Grupango Fishing Charters and find out what you’re missing in Singapore. With Captain Iskandar at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are home to Bigeye Trevally, Red Emperor Snapper, Sweetlip Emperor, Ray, Indian Threadfish, Giant Grouper, Barramundi, Javelin Grunter, Golden Trevally, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 50’ Cruiser with space for 8 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Grupango Fishing Charters!
