Book your Lake of the Ozarks group fishing charter with Barber Fishing Guide Service for the best value and experience on the lake! Having spent decades on the lake we know where and how to put you on fish.
Our clients catch Crappie, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Blue Catfish, and other species. (We do not fish for spoonbill).
We utilize multiple techniques including casting, trolling, drifting, jigging, or catfish jugs depending on conditions and customer preference. Be advised that casting may be restricted for safety reasons when more than 4 people are onboard, especially for Bass fishing. (Large baits with treble hooks)
As part of our service we clean your catch of Crappie, White Bass, and Catfish. Largemouth bass fishing is catch and release only. We also put your fish filets on ice for easy transport.
You'll be fishing on a 24' Pontoon that comfortably accommodates up to 6 anglers. The boat has everything you need for an enjoyable and productive day on the water. There's also a toilet at our dock location and nearby marinas for your convenience.
Your captain will provide quality rods, reels, lures, and bait. Live bait is utilized when appropriate and helpful.
There will be a First Mate on most pontoon charters to help your trip run smoothly. First mates often work for tips and they're very much appreciated.
Before your trip please buy a Missouri fishing license if age 16 and over. We can text you a link to purchase licenses online or you can purchase them at a local retailer such as Walmart.
Trips are open to families and we very much enjoy family charters. By law, children age 8 and under must wear life vests and we provide them for all passengers for your convenience. We also provide complimentary bottled water and cokes and you can bring snacks if you'd like.
We have sunscreen and sunglasses on the boat but you may want to bring your own.

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Chris and his daughter, Addi! Their knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and easygoing personalities made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great time catching fish all morning, Bass and Carappie. To top it off, they cleaned and filleted everything we caught, which was such a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free fishing trip with experienced guides who truly care about their guests, we can’t recommend Captain Chris and Addi highly enough. We would absolutely book with them again!

Capt Chris was very knowledgeable, and outgoing !st Mate Rachel always had a smile on her face and worked very hard to make this a fun trip for my grandkids...not the best time of year to Crappie fish but we caught some very nice fish, once Capt Chris was able to locate them rascals. If your looking to have a good time on the water and catch some fish you can't go wrong booking this crew.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
