Barber Fishing Guide Service offers the best fishing charter value and experience at Lake of the Ozarks! Having logged decades on this lake, our team will help you catch the fish you want to pursue.
Our clients catch Crappie, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Blue Catfish, and more. (We do not offer Spoonbill fishing)
We utilize multiple techniques including casting, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, and catfish jugs.
You're welcome to keep your catch of Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass up to your legal limit and we clean them for you. Largemouth bass are catch and release.
You'll find yourself aboard a 19' Bass boat with room for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. At the end of your charter we’ll take photos of your catch and you can enjoy our spacious private boat dock that has a fire pit, television, sofas, and complimentary beverages. You’ll be very comfortable while we clean and package your fish catch.
We provide quality rods, reels, bait, and tackle necessary to be successful. Live bait is provided when needed to be successful.
Before coming aboard all anglers age 16 and over will need to purchase a Missouri fishing license. You can purchase your license online from the MO Department of Conservation or a local retailer such as Walmart.

Children under age 8 are required by law to wear life vests and we have them on all of our vessels. We also provide complimentary bottled water and soft drinks and you can bring snacks if you'd like.
Though we have them on the boat, You may want to bring your own sunglasses and sunblock.

Often times when booking trips you never set your expectations too high for fear of disappointment. I assure you when you book a trip with Captain Chris you will not be disappointed, Captain Chris goes above and beyond to make sure you're having a great experience. His knowledge of the lake and fishing techniques are phenomenal. We caught more and better. fish than I would have ever dreamed of on this lake. You can't go wrong with Barber Guide Service.

Captain Chris was amazing and was able to get us on fish. Bite was slow but he did everything he could do for us to catch fish, which we did! We are so impressed with his knowledge and his desire to have happy clients that we are booking another full day trip instead of just four hours,

Captain Chris communicated well before our trip and although we had several storms moving through the area he and Captains Raechel and Addy did their best to give us a great experience!! Not only are they knowledgeable fishing guides but they are just GREAT people! Would definitely recommend them.

Very Nice clean boat and gear, introducing us to a new way using jugs to catch catfish. Easy going captain with lots of fishing and lake knowledge. Worked well with us at the beginning and throughout the day to sharpen our catfish skills. And the end of the trip our catch was cleaned throughly and bagged up for transportation, providing drinks and freezies, what a great experience, highly recommended

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
