Big Game Fishing in Madeira gives you the chance to be face to face with the mighty Atlantic Blue Marlin, in which the island alone is famous for the big girls that come around to feed, sometimes as close as 1 mile off the shores of Madeira.
Fish caught during the trip are yours to keep, so long as they meet regulations. Keep in mind that, above all, the captain supports catch and release, so they always let the client choose what to do with the fish.
The boat is a 31’ Astinor 1000 that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials, including a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome! There will be light snacks, sandwiches and drinks available on board.
