We had an awesome fishing trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We caught several grouper along with a variety of other fish, which made for an exciting day on the water. Captain Good was knowledgeable, thorough, and made sure everyone was taken care of from start to finish. He worked hard to keep us on the fish and made the trip enjoyable for everyone onboard. First Mate Cole was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and always there to help with bait, tackle, and landing fish. His hard work and positive attitude really made a difference. We booked a nearshore trip with 2 Shea Fishing and came home with great memories, lots of fish, and a newfound appreciation for Dramamine. From the first message, 2 Shea was fantastic. Communication was quick, helpful, and detailed, which made planning the trip easy and stress-free. On the water, Captain Andrew and first mate Cole (hope I got that right ?) were the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable, funny, and patient. We had a group of 3 adults and 3 teens, and they made sure everyone was involved, having fun, and catching fish. Whether it was helping bait hooks, untangling lines, or celebrating a catch, they never seemed rushed or bothered. The crew did an excellent job balancing safety with a relaxed, fun atmosphere. A few members of our group discovered that their sea legs may have been left on shore, but Andrew and Cole were incredibly attentive—making sure they had water, access to shade, and were doing okay, while still keeping the rest of us fishing and having a great time. As for the fishing, it exceeded every expectation we had. We caught grouper, red snapper, blowfish, and even a nurse shark. One thing that really stood out was how much they seemed to care that we had a memorable experience. They even took photos for us throughout the trip so we could stay focused on the fun. We've done plenty of family activities and excursions over the years, and this was easily one of the highlights. If you're looking for a fishing charter with a great captain, a fantastic mate, plenty of laughs, and a crew that genuinely wants you to succeed, book with 2 Shea Fishing. We'll definitely be back. Next time, we'll just be a little more prepared for the waves than the fish were.

Trip to celebrate hubby’s 65th birthday, and 1st deep sea fishing experience! We couldn’t have asked for a happier one! Captain Andrew & 1st mate Cole made the day exceptionally fun & very successful catching a variety of fish (including “almost” a big hammerhead shark!) Andrew perfectly filleted our catch which we took directly to SandShakers, and they made into the most delicious fish tacos for our dinner! We highly recommend 2 Shea for a phenomenal fishing experience!!

We did the 3 hour tour. Andrew & Hank wasted no time taking us exactly where we needed to be to catch a lot of fish - mostly grunts. They gave lots of info about fishing technique & about types of fish. They were very friendly & helpful & flexible with how we spent our time with what we were wanting out of the trip - enough fish for a meal then try for bigger fish with different bait in the short amount of time we had. My family of 5 all had a great time. The beautiful sunset from the boat was an added bonus. They suggested places to go with our catch so we went to Hog Island Fish Camp & they prepared our fish the way we wanted, some fried & some blackened, & it was absolutely delicious.

Wow! Where to begin? Meet with Captain Andrew and Captain Hank at 7:45am. Leave dock at 8:00, discussed what we (our party was interested in catching). Four stops, wreck fishing, bottom fishing even went and did a little Goliath Grouper fishing. Entire day was action packed, not a dull moment. If you are reading this I know how you feel with a little uncertainty, put your fears aside and book with Captains Andrew ands Hank. Great guys, they worked hard for us and we brought home a cooler full of filets to include Red Grouper 24” caught by my grandson Everett, Snapper, Porgies, Key West Grunts. Don’t scroll past this one. This is the charter boat that you are looking for. Epic day on the water. We landed 2 giant goliath grouper in the first hour of our trip. We could have caught more but we were too tired so we moved on to target some smaller fish that we could take home. Guides worked hard to put us on fish and wastes zero time. We were either catching fish or moving on. Highly recommend and very kid friendly.

Capt. Micheal was very knowledgeable and friendly! First mate Frankie was a delight as well:) We took our 3 kids, 10,8,and 5. Our youngest was teady to come back to shore right away, but a little nap, snack and iphone fixed it real quick. the older two were catching fish left and right. They took care of everything, baiting hooks, getting the fish off and cleaning afterwards. it was a really great time! We sidnt catch as many fish as Capt wanted to, so he extended our trip well ovwr an hour and we were very pleased with the amount of fish caught!

This trip exceeded our expectations. Capt. Andy and Capt. Luke were amazing. They both were very out going, personable Capt. Who made the entire trip fun. They made sure everyone caught fish which we ended up catching 40+ fish. They gave us a great recommendation at Salt Cracker Fish Camp where we took part of our catch to eat. They cooked it to perfection. We had grilled Hogfish, blackened grunt and fried grunt. Everyone left full and happy. My boys who are 10 and 12 had the time of their life. We will be going again through 2Shea, but this time on an all day trip.
