Around here the fishing is popular for Mangrove Snapper, Grunt, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Red Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Goliath Grouper, Blacktip Shark, Spanish Mackerel, Hogfish, and more with any luck.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your adventure begins aboard a 36' Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Robert will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our afternoon fishing excursion with Captain Bob could not have been better. It was a gorgeous day and the boat was ready for us when we arrived with coolers and ice. We caught over 25 fish including hogfish, sheepshead, and porgy. Captain Bob was knowledgeable and patient with us novice deep sea fishers. Aboard the ship was our 12-year-old son. This excursion was his bucket list vacation item and he really wanted to catch a shark. Captain Bob said he couldn’t promise anything, but he made it happen! He was amazing with our son, spending 22 minutes helping him reel in a sandbar shark to the side of the boat. It was an epic day we won’t forget! As we headed back to the dock, our son got a quick driving lesson and we even stopped to see some dolphins. Captain Bob fileted all our fish back at the dock which was entertaining in itself with all the pilicans waiting for the scraps. We cannot recommend Captain Bob enough. He was a great guy, knowledgeable, and made made our son’s fishing dreams come true.
The captain and first mate were awesome. Reminded me of an old time comedy team. They fed off of each other’s jokes. They fit into our group perfectly. We had a minor incident on the way out to fish. Bob couldn’t do enough to try to make it better. Everything ended up fine especially after the 3 boys in the group got some swag. If half of us wouldn’t have gotten sea sick I would definitely rebook.
We had such a great trip with Captain Bob and caught a ton of fish! He took us to several different spots and all of them hit with fish! He was engaging and funny with the entire family and kept us entertained all day. We caught so many different tyoes of fish and he taught us about them all. We really appreciated him taking the time to filet all of our fish and we cooked them up that same night! We will definitely be back and would recommend him to anyone!
Solid day on the water. We headed offshore and the conditions were perfectly calm, but it was the captain’s local knowledge that really saved the day. We spent the trip trolling for King Mackerel and doing some bottom fishing, hitting several productive spots. The variety of species we encountered was impressive. The equipment was well-maintained.If you want a productive, no-nonsense charter that actually puts you on the fish
I took my 12-year-old son on an eight hour charter with captain Robert. My son said it was the best day of our vacation! Captain Robert took time with my son to make sure he knew what was happening and how to locate fish. We caught several grouper and almost had a king fish. The boat was very nice. We would definitely do it again. Thanks, Captain Robert!
