The good -
This boat is large, clean and comfortable. The captain and mate were helpful and friendly. Captain Paul was great at communicating before the trip since there were some weather possibilities.
The bad -
We could literally swim from the place we anchored to fish from back to the boat slip. And we anchored right in a busy channel. The explanation was that the fish hang out in the channel because the fishermen dump their scraps there. I understand that, but it wasn’t fun to any of the 6 of us on the boat being so close to where the boat parks. I think it should be stated VERY CLEARLY in the description of the trip that the boat barely leaves the dock. Then people could make an informed decision.
The neutral -
We didn’t catch a single fish, but that’s the unpredictable nature of fishing. Captain Paul did discount our trip fee.
