There’s a fish with your name on it in Islamorada and Blue Arrow Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bill and Captain Rebekah can tell you all about them.

Species like Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, Blacktip Shark, Black Grouper, Bonito, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Permit, Tripletail, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Blue Arrow Charters are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!  Ice and Water are supplied.

Your boat for the day is a 25’ Robalo Cayman 246 bay boat with space for 4 fishermen who can be aboard on any day. It has all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and all the bait and tackle you need for the day waiting for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat and sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, and any food and drinks you want for the day. A cooler of ice will be waiting to keep your goods cold and bottled water is provided.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
