4 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing (AM)
Grandpa, Father, Son Fishing Trip
We had an amazing time with Captain Alex and his First Mate, also named Alex! My Dad (77), son (14) and I (42) all of us have experience fresh water fishing and this was a perfect trip for beginners and even intermediate anglers looking to get out on the Gulf of Mexico. We had such a great time, our hooks were always baited, we had access to a plethora of different rods to fish with, a very nice and well equipped boat, and we caught dozens of fish and kept a bakers dozen that Captain Alex cleaned and fileted for us! We caught grunts, mackerel, snapper, and grouper! The weather was perfect on our trip... really you could not ask for a better time. If you are looking for a capable Captain, with a nice boat, and a great friendly attitude... Captain ALex is your guy!

Getting out into the Gulf with Captain Alex was a breeze—and the fishing was non-stop fun! His boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Alex made it look easy to get all four of us rigged up and fishing fast, and he kept up like a pro as we started pulling in fish one after another. Captain Alex made sure our family had a great day on the water. My wife and two kids (12 & 10 yrs) had never been saltwater fishing. Alex made sure we had size appropriate gear and was super patient and made sure we all caught fish. Both kids are ready to do it again. Boat was I great condition and he made sure to give us a smooth ride. Thanks again!

Explore the Gulf with Salty Freedom USA was very fun.
Captain Alex and son Eli were a great team. Alex suggested we wait until the Gulf calmed and we delayed the trip 2 hours. It was fine. He put us on fish and we caught a mess. A great meal and plenty for the freezer. My friends and I had a great time.
