Homer Fish process and Coal point seafood can package and freeze your fish. They also sell airline approved insulated boxes to bring your fish home with you.
Our Vessel the Nauti Nellie was built in 2016 in Roseburg, OR by North River Boats, they specialize in heavy gauge aluminum boats for commercial, recreational and military use. She was designed for Alaskan waters and will keep you dry and warm on our journey to the fishing grounds. While being able to take in all the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Nauti Nellie is powered by twin yamaha 300 outboards and a 25 hp kicker for Salmon trolling. Our vessel is equipped with top of the line electronics and safety equipment. There is a stand up head /restroom aboard
Fishing License are required and can be purchased at several stores in town or online at the Alaska Fish and Game website. Alaskan residents under 18 and non residents under 16 are not required to have a fishing license but will need a harvest card. Fishing license come in several options depending on how many days you plan on fishing. Don't forget your King Salmon stamp if you booked a Salmon Combo trip.
RQE_Recreational Quota Entity Halibut Stamp will need to be purchased from your Captain the day of the trip when Targeting Halibut. Halibut stamps are $20 a client

Trip for Tim on July 21, 2026 • 5 adultsTwo days fishing on less than great weather, but Captain Weston and mate Adam made them epic for Granppa, son and three grand kids. Day one - rough water but found a safe space , got quota and some throw backs without a problem- one fifty pounder. Then trolled - o e king, two pinks Znd a rock fish. 120 + pounds of fish. Day to a bit calmer and made a return to our spot. Feeling a little bolder took our time and paid off - over two hundred pounds- last halibut caught over 100 pounds - WOW. Also got a firty pound octopus, trolled and got two more Kings. Crew iutstanding, beautiful boat. Memories made - thanks

First mate Bryce was an awesome young man and Captain Jake was very knowledgeable where the fish was at. They were great with our grandson who had a blast on his first trip out on a charter boat. Bears and Halibut on August 8, 2026 • 4 adultsWe did the Bears and Halibut tour and had an amazing trip. Got to see the bears feeding in their natural environment and then great action fishing. It truly was the experience of a lifetime. Jake and Brianna were so nice it was like being on a boat ride with friends. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Evening Cod/Salmon Private trip on July 26, 2026 • 4 adultswe are a Family of four inexperienced with fishing. The crew were amazing and took wonderful care of us. We caught over 25 fish, including halibut, salmon, and cod. We saw otters along the way, and the boat was wonderful. Would recommend to everyone!

8 Hour shared Halibut trip on May 22, 2025 • 2 adultsCaptain Mark and Levi were FUN. Been on many Charters where they make you feel like just a customer for the day instead of a human and really a friend. Can't say enough about their knowledge, professionalism and personalities. We got into the fish and they made it a great experience. Boat was 10/10- super nice and safe. Always a gamble picking randoms off the internet- this was a happy accident. Great trip with Wes and Adam. Young but very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, experienced. 4 in our group, 3 very experienced fisherman, and they were great with all of us. Wes grew up in Homer so knows the water. We didn't know Halibut fishing is closed on Tuesdays when we booked, which would have been nice to know ahead of time, we could have rearranged our schedules. Perhaps we should have called in person vs 100% online booked to find that info out. We expected to fish with Jake on the Nauti Nellie, and that was changed, would have been nice to know ahead of time. They run 3 boats, so understandable, but a heads up would help. Meet time was adjusted to later sunrise, and pre-trip communication was otherwise great. Wes and Adam greeted us with big smiles and introduced themselves, asked our names, and off we went for a great day on the water. Only equipment issue was we fished in deep (~300') water at one spot and reels were short on line from previous charter getting hung down and breaking line off, could only go to 250' or so. So we moved and caught fish at another spot. I am sure they remedied that issue after we got ashore. Wes called fish processors, who met us at the dock, and flash froze our catch in 1 lb vacuum bags, ready to ship. A great and memorable day on the water in Homer.

Our family of six had a great time! Two teenage boys had the time of their lives catching fish. Seemed like someone always had one on the hook. The crew was extremely helpful and encouraging. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the captain’s name but his assistant was Alex. They were both skilled fishermen and a lot of fun.
