Lets Go Catching Fishing & Family Fun Charter
Book your next trip with Let’s Go Catching – Fishing & Family Fun Charters find out what you’re missing in Jacksonville. With Captain Mike at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Species like Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, Black Seabass, African Pompano Jack, Mahi Mahi, and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
Your excursion begins aboard a 27’ Everglade 273CC center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some water on board, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water. So let’s go catching!
