Cast Away Guide Service
If you’re going to cast a line in Baldwin, look no further than Cast Away Guide Service. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Clint can tell you all about them.
Steelhead, Brown Trout, Salmon, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. During the trip, you might be spinning, drifting, or fly fishing.
Trips with Cast Away Guide Service are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea – luckily, Capt. Clint will have some on board!
Your excursion begins aboard a 16’ ClackaCraft drift boat with a capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring polarized sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), a raincoat, a camera, insect repellant, a hat, and gloves. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food on the full-day option and some light snacks included on board.
