If you're ready to start fishing in Chincoteague, book a trip with Reed and Reel Fishing Company. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain William can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Striped Bass, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Black Seabass, Cobia, Gray Triggerfish, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself!
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Kids are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24' Skiff with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
Capt. William has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be bottled water provided.
Now, time to hit the water with Reed and Reel Fishing Company!
