Great trip! We had a blast catching Walleye with Captain Quinn. He had impressive knowledge, experience and tech for landing the most fish possible on our half day trip. He helped the three of us with specific techniques for hooking the Walleye and kept us entertained with many interesting stories from his career on the water. Will definitely book another trip in future!
Captain Quinn worked hard to make sure we put some steelhead in the boat. I missed a couple early in the day and then the bite slowed down. I had only scheduled a half day trip, but it ended up turning into a full day with 8 nice steelies landed. Caption Quinn did everything he could to make sure I caught fish. He even stopped at the bait store after our trip and helped me get set up to go out on my own! Awesome guide who went above and beyond and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Captain Quinn is one smart cookie and such a great person! He is knowledgeable and extremely competent and the boys had a great time! My husband, 2 teens and 8 yo went out on Long lake to walleye fish. They caught a lot of fish and at the end of the trip Captain Quinn filleted them for us to take home. This fishing charter is a no brainer. Easy, fun and well worth the $$. Thank u to Captain Quinn for everything! Very pleased and impressed! Can’t wait to do it again! We will be booking Captain Quinn again!
We had an absolute blast on this trip! We caught fish, had fun and made a new lifetime friend/family member with the Captain. Can not wait to hit the water with him again in the future!
We had a great trip on Long Lake. Everybody caught fish. Captain Quinn was a great teacher. He helped us improve our technique. If we get back up this way we'll use him again.

Capt. Quinn grew up in Northern Michigan fishing his entire life. He quickly found a passion for chasing migratory and non-migratory fish throughout Lake Michigan and its' numerous tributaries. Capt. Quinn worked on Lake Michigan charter boats from the age of 15 to 21 and bought his first river boat at age 16. Over the past decade Capt. Quinn has developed a particular skill set for chasing salmon, steelhead, trout and smallmouth throughout Lake Michigan's tributaries. After receiving his degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University he decided this was a skill set that he wanted to share and opened up Ripple Effect Guide Service for business.
