Kingfishers Guide Service
Spend the day with Kingfishers Guide Service and let them show you what makes the fishing in Townville so memorable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Fisher can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Catfish, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your day begins aboard a 25' Sea Pro center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with the Kingfishers Guide Service!

My son and I had a fantastic time fishing with Fisher Fleming of Kingfishers Guide Service on beautiful Lake Hartwell. We caught plenty of striped bass, and Fisher's knowledge of the lake, the fish, and exactly where and when they would be biting (even on a hot summer afternoon) was impressive. He worked hard to keep us on fish and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We highly recommend Fisher and Kingfishers Guide Service to anyone looking for a great day on the water.
Fisher donated a half day fishing charter to the Calvary Home that we won. Fisher was prompt on setting up the date and time and following up the day before. There were 3 of us, my 9 year old boy and 6 year old girl. Fisher was ready for us when we got to the landing and we were off to the first spot and there 10 minutes later. Fisher was great explaning everything and super helpful keeping the bait on the rods. Would highly recommond and will be booking again in the future.
Capt. was pleasant and knowledge of the area. . Equipment was great. We had a slow start that evening but he worked hard and found a nice spot that was booming with stripers ,all the fish that we caught were large and it was tough for some of my kids to reel them in. we enjoyed our trip tremendously and will probably rebook in .
From Atlanta. im one of those people who never leaves reviews. but i had to leave one cause captain fish was amazing. book a trip. i highly recommend. ive fished all over the world and i have to admit this one of the best fishing trip ive been on. 4 of us, morning hybrid/striper bass trip. we were pulling out hybrids left and right, caught some spotted bass and catfish also. sometimes 3 at a time. we will definitely book another trip with Captain Fish again. he will not disappoint you.
took my 20 year-old 17 year-old and 11 year-old grandsons fishing. Amazing captain paid attention to everybody. Can’t wait to go again

I've lived on Hartwell my whole life and been fishing it since I was a little kid. I've learned a lot about the fishery over the years and continuing to learn more everyday. There's nothin I love more than taking people out and putting them on fish and having the best time while doing it!
