For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Finatical Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing!
Capt. Blake welcomes you aboard a 34’ Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Don’t leave home without snacks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

6 hour afternoon trip on May 9, 2025
Booked a 6 hour PM charter and because of the weather had to move it up to 6 AM. Captain Blake kept in contact with us all week to monitor the weather situation. We decided to move it up and we are so glade we did. At the first stop we filled up 1/3 of the ice chest! Captain Blake put us on fish at every stop we literally caught everything at least once! We had fish on our lines the whole time. One of the best parts of the trip was everytime I had a fish on my line and I would look over, my kid would have one on his. Q was right there with him making sure he was good and his fish made it in the boat. Every fish over 20” that hit our lines made it in the boat because of the awesome crew we had. My son was scared and worried because it was his first fishing trip. Captain Blake and Q helped break him out his shell and made sure he had the time of his life! Before the trip was over he asked when are we coming back! If you are looking for a fishing charter there are thousands out there, but if you are looking for an opportunity to make one of the greatest memories to hold in the bank. Got out in the water earlier than expected, stayed a little later attempting to find a specific species of fish. Capt had a solid plan based on what we were looking to catch and overall nailed it. With 6 people on board, 5 with little to no experience, the deckhand was on point lending assistance where needed and providing tips. The water current was absolutely ripping, which made the trolling motor ineffective but the Capt kept us on target with motor control. Overall, I'd recommend Finatical for a trip anytime and will likely use them again in the future myself.

Communication was great. We booked a 6hr morning trip. My son wasn’t wanting to fish just for meat, he wanted to go a bit deeper and catch something bigger. We talked to the crew and they worked hard to make sure my teen and family got to do just that. Boat was in great shape, felt comfortable with them and boat from beginning. It was just a short drive from Destin and much quicker and easier to get to then many of them in that area I’m glad we chose it. We will definitely book again and looking at a longer trip!

An amazing fun filled day!
8 Hour Trip on September 18, 2024
We booked in mid-September for a crew of 6. 2 men, 2 women, a 12 & 14 year old. We chose 8 hours to catch the big boys, and that, we did! Blake's boat is very clean, very nice, and FAST! LOL! Having a huge fish on the end of your line was so thrilling! Our 12 & 14 year old reeled in a huge amberjack and Blake and his deckhand were right there next to them the whole time. They were able to get it into the boat because of the help they had from the crew. When a line gets a bite, even if a big one is already on, either Blake or Q are right there immediately. A line comes up without bait, or snapped, there's another one waiting for you or it's immediately worked on and back into the water. It was a great day! We even chose to pay for an extra hour because it was that good! We made jokes with them, laughed with them, and truly enjoyed our time while on the boat. These are memories that will certainly last a life time! We can't wait for our next trip with Blake! Thanks for the day guys! We appreciate it!

Great 8 Hour Trip on Finatical Charters
8 Hour Trip on July 16, 2024
We had a great trip with Finatical Charters. We were able to catch our limit of Red Snapper, but only because of the hard work of Captain Blake and Quentin. We moved around to several spots to find the bite. We also caught several other species including one nice Tilefish. Blake and Quentin are great guys, and the boat was phenomenal. It was almost brand new and it was fast so it got us out to the fishing spots in a hurry. If you want to spend the day fishing on a top-notch boat with a great captain and crew, we would highly recommend booking with Finatical.
