Destin Coast Charters
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Fort Walton Beach and go fishing with Destin Coast Ceharters. Captain Darryll will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of angling experience.
There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Bonito, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flathead, Flounder, Gag Grouper, Sailfish, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and more, depending on the season. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Destin Coast Charters is a child-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 35' Convertible with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain & mate were very knowledgeable & courteous. We all had a great time on the Reel Blessed.
Went out with captain Darryl and first mate John today. The water was the roughest I had been on but these two worked their butts off putting us on some good red snapper. Thank you
Everyone had a awesome time. We would highly recommend this Charter if you are looking for attention to detail.

Thanks Robert for booking with us. We had a great time too and enjoyed meeting your family. Looking forward to next time and taking you fishing all again.

Thanks Gregg for reaching out and booking with us. We had a great day fishing with your family. Catching our limit on the American Red Snapper is always a bonus, that's what we strive to do. We did try find the Whale Shark and instead were treated with the beautiful Manta Ray. Look forward to seeing you next time you are in town. Captain Darryll and Captain John.

Thanks Mike for booking with us. We look forward to fishing with you and your family next time you are in town. Captain Darryll and Captain John.
Captain Darryll grew up around the ocean. As a young fisherman, he enjoyed many exciting trips fishing along the eastern coast of South Africa. This is commonly called the 'wild coast' because of its unforgiving waters. Darryll learned a lot about these waters and grew to respect Mother Nature and her power. Besides the experience gained in South Africa, he has experience on boats in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. This worldwide experience has led him to become an experienced Captain on both power and sail vessels, with the NAUI Divemaster certificate. Darryll is also a Merchant Mariner Instructor teaching classes for new captains.
