Your trip begins aboard a 55' Motor yacht that can carry up to 10 passengers. It has a fighting chair and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Please keep in mind that it's standard for 4-6 anglers to be fishing at the same time. If you plan on having a larger group, make sure to let your captain know ahead of time.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcoholic beverages are quoted separately.

Captain Giovanni, first and foremost, was one of the best captains I have ever had. His experience is extensive, and he even held a Curacao record at one point according to the hotel I was staying at. And even though he has all that experienced, he respected the fact that I have extensive knowledge (not necessarily of Curacao but of angling in general) and discussed location and plans with me. We did catch a Mahi that day, and we were going to keep trolling for Wahoo, but Captain Giovanni, as mentioned, acquiesced to my request to target bull shark and the Mahi (the only catch of that day, as we switched targets about 2 hours in) I converted to chum to see if we could find a shark. Even though we didn't succeed on finding a shark, as we were traveling around the island, Captain Giovanni told us many stories of history of all the old Dutch forts that are dotted around the island from times of invasion and piracy in the Caribbean. This experience made the trip worth even more than what I paid (which was very reasonable for a 50+ ft boat). Even my wife (who is not an angler and gets very seasick without dramamine) enjoyed the experience because it was so much more than just a fishing charter. Lastly, the water was beautiful. I recommend Giovanni and Paranda Boat Trips to anyone from the beginner all the way to the most advanced anglers. Hire with confidence! Fish on!

No live bait, 2 poles for 9 people and they were rusty, no help from the crew. Our party came back over an hour early very disappointed. WE WANT A REFUND
Could you tell us whether live bait was available on this trip? If not, was it an add-on purchased by the customer, as it is not advertised? We never advertised live bait so this complaint is not valid.Live bait may be possible as an add-on if requested upfront and if available. We troll with synthetic squid,fish and Rapala lures during all our fishing trips and usually catch fish. The customer mentioned there were only two rods for nine people. Is this accurate? If so, could you explain why rods were not provided for all guests? Normally, trolling with 9 guests ,guests will take turns on the rods. From experience, we know trolling with 9 rods simultaneously will result in a fishing disaster. If guests had requested 9 rods we could have explained the situation above or denied the trip to avoid an unnecessary complaint. Can you walk us through how the trip went from your perspective, including the level of crew support and the reason for returning early This fishing trip was organized as usual with our captain Ivan and fishing mate Robert. We came back earlier on request of the same guests because they got seasick.
