My wife and I had a blast fishing with Captain David this past weekend.  He called the night before after looking at the tides to recommend leaving an hour or more later than originally planned, which worked out just fine for us.  We were picked up promptly in Port A.  He had a number of ideas as to where to fish, so we began trying them.  We got several keeper redfish, including the first oversized one I’d ever caught (30”), that was a lot of fun to bring in.  He had all the gear and bait needed and was very efficient keeping our lines in the water.  He is quite pleasant and patient, a very good teacher, not to mention conversationalist.  We both thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water, and David worked hard to put my wife on a keeper fish!  We will definitely fish with him again, and highly recommend you do as well.

Had an absolute great time fishing with Captain David Lee. Trip left right on time. Fishing conditions were not ideal with the heat and the wind but Captain David Lee used all his knowledge and resources to put plus on the fish. Working different spot changing baits as needed. In the end all 3 of us were able to limit out on some great black drum. Along the way we found a couple of red drums keepers as well.
Captain David Lee had a great balance of coaching and letting you fish.
Back at the dock he cleaned the fish for us and it was a lot of fish to clean.
Do your self a favor if you’re looking for a guide to take you out in the Port Aransas area and go with Captain David Lee. Trust me you’ll have a great and the best chance for fish in the boat.

Weather was poor and fishing was slow for all the guides that day, but David worked until he got us on to fish. Brought back a nice chest full of fish. Great captain and very helpful. Boat was fast and comfortable to fish from. All his gear was top notch.  Would highly recommend captain David and I plan to book him again for my next trip.

David is very knowledgeable and very personable guide who is more than willing to take and spend the time to get you on fish. We fished at a time of the year that is a bad time to catch a limit of fish but David came through. I enjoyed the entire trip, and unless you don’t know how to smile he will figure out a way. Great guide great guy. I’m already planning my next trip out with him. Take it for what it is worth, money well spent.
