Ready to cast a line in Miami Beach? Island Time Charters is here to make it happen! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jesus knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Hogfish, African Pompano Jack, Kingfish, and plenty more. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.

You'll step aboard a 31' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. We always recommend buying atleast $60 of live bait

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It's recommended to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks and ice will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Holy Mackerel!!

Wow! What an amazing day we had with Jesus! We hit several of his fishing spots and we were not disappointed. We caught many species but the yellowtail was really biting. Almost hit our limit on the yellowtail. Then a surprise we landed a massive KING MACKEREL! Unbelievable ending to our charter. And I can’t say enough about Jesus. He is one of the hardest working captains out there. Thank you again Jesus for helping us make some amazing memories ❤️

colleague and I were down here for business, but booked an afternoon charter with Captain Jesus! couldn’t recommend it enough as we caught a mixed bag of keepers as well as a trophy, goliath grouper! Five Stars for Captain Jesus! Unforgettable 6-Hour Charter

We just finished the most incredible 6-hour fishing charter with Captain Jesus, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a successful and fun day on the water, look no further! Captain Jesus is not only a seasoned pro but also genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. He made sure everyone on board felt comfortable, whether they were experienced anglers or first-timers. He was patient in explaining techniques and always ready to lend a hand with bait, lines, and netting. Most importantly, Captain Jesus knows the water! He absolutely put us on the fish. We spent the full six hours constantly reeling in the action, thanks to his knowledge of the best local spots. It was exactly what we hoped for in a charter—non-stop fun and a great haul to show for it.

Awesome Crew

Half Day Trip on February 22, 2026 • 6 adults

Tenacious captain who only wants to see his guests succeed! We had a couple of first time fishers so despite having a couple of tangled lines he was so patient and took the time to teach us. The day started kind of slow so Jesus kept trying different spots to try and improve our luck and just when we had given up hope we got a big bite and pulled in a sailfish! We had a great time and cant wait to book it again!

Great captain, crew and boat.

Half day on February 27, 2026 • 2 adults

But…We did not catch any of our preferred species (cobia, sailfish, larger grouper). Frankly anything that couldn’t normally be caught from shore or on a pier would have worked. We caught several Blue Runners, small snapper, 2 remoras, a small parrot fish, a 4-5 foot nurse shark, and several pieces of coral. I don’t think that this was due to lack of knowledge on the captain’s part, just poor fishing conditions. The boat was great and clean. The rods/ reels were suitable to rough handling and novice fishermen. Next trip I will bring my own rods that are suitable. I am an accomplished fresh water fisherman and so do enjoy better rods/ reels than what were provided. That said all of the equipment worked. We used live and cut bait. I would have enjoyed using artificial lures and more precision techniques personally. After the trip , the captain did offer a discount on a future trip since fishing was so poor. I will definitely use this service when I am in the area again.
