Ready to cast a line in Miami Beach? Island Time Charters is here to make it happen! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jesus knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Hogfish, African Pompano Jack, Kingfish, and plenty more. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
You'll step aboard a 31' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. We always recommend buying atleast $60 of live bait
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It's recommended to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks and ice will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

My wife and I had never been to Miami before, and we really wanted to squeeze in a day of fishing before heading home. We booked with Island Time, and Captain Jesus absolutely delivered! From the initial communication and easy pin drops for our meetup location to an action-packed day out on the water, everything was seamless. We were into kingfish, yellowtail snapper, and more — it was an absolute blast! Captain Jesus has a great boat, quality gear, and an incredible knowledge of the local waters, fish, and fishing techniques. He kept us on the fish and made the entire experience fun and memorable from start to finish. This was easily a 10/10 experience for us. If you’re looking to get out fishing while in Miami, we would highly recommend Island Time and Captain Jesus. We’ll definitely be looking him up again the next time we’re in Miami!
We highly recommend Capt. Jesus..... he was great! From start to finish the entire day was enjoyable. Capt. set us up on his spot and once the fish started biting they didn’t stop. Two adults and two kids (12 and 10) put together a limit catch of Yellowtail Snapper (40 keepers). We did lose a few to the big Bull Shark that would cruise by the boat from time to time. Kids loved seeing the Shark. Capt. Jesus was patient and attentive. He shared his knowledge and experience with us and was great with the kids. He quickly re-rigged and re-baited the rods/hooks and kept the fish coming. The 10-year-old said it was the best fishing charter ever!!! At the dock, Capt. Jesus filleted our catch- and they were beautiful 😍. Definitely recommend this fishing 🎣 charter. It was a beautiful day on the water and excellent fishing.
If you’re booking a fishing charter, don’t just book for the fish — book for the experience. Captain Jesus absolutely delivered both. We caught Mahi and Shark, but honestly the best part of the trip was the energy the entire day. Jesus worked nonstop to keep us on fish, and when the bite slowed down, the vibes never did. He kept everybody laughing, smiling, and having a great time from start to finish. A lot of captains can put you on fish. Very few can make the whole day unforgettable. Jesus is the kind of guy you actually want to spend 10 hours on a boat with. Hard working, fun, laid back, and clearly passionate about what he does. Couldn’t recommend this trip more. We’ll absolutely be back.

I had an amazing fishing trip experience! Captain Jesus was outstanding very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to go and made sure everyone had a great time. His experience and positive attitude made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We caught fish, had fun, and created great memories. We just finished the most incredible 6-hour fishing charter with Captain Jesus, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a successful and fun day on the water, look no further! Captain Jesus is not only a seasoned pro but also genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. He made sure everyone on board felt comfortable, whether they were experienced anglers or first-timers. He was patient in explaining techniques and always ready to lend a hand with bait, lines, and netting. Most importantly, Captain Jesus knows the water! He absolutely put us on the fish. We spent the full six hours constantly reeling in the action, thanks to his knowledge of the best local spots. It was exactly what we hoped for in a charter—non-stop fun and a great haul to show for it.
