Carrabelle has a fish with your name on it, so let Bust-A-Knot Charters help you catch it! With Captain Kevin at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Around here it's common to catch Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Scamp Grouper, and more, depending on the season. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Kevin can also have you Flounder gigging.
You'll be fishing aboard a 29' Baja Cruiser pilothouse that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
