If you're in the market for a professional, guided experience near Pulaski, look no further than Pulaski Salmon Charters and Guide.
The name of the game around here is fly fishing, and spin rods that's exactly what you'll do. You can also do a bit of jigging, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Your guide, Clifford, will provide , rods and reels, as well as lures. We are a full-service outfitter, so there is nothing they do not provide! The only thing we don't provide is waders, boots, and rain gear, which you will need to bring along for your awesome day. So please don't forget to pack them to bring with you for your trip.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Steelhead, and plenty more. 3-4 guest will walking and wading only, expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Expect to get in touch with Clifford before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there. For overnight trips, the pick up/drop-off option is available for an extra cost. Message the captain for details. Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply.
You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear. It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and sunglasses in any weather conditions. Clifford will have some snacks and drinks for you. Anglers of all ages are welcome on these trips, including kids. A group of four of us booked with Captain Cliff for Salmon/Steelhead fishing and we would recommend his services to anyone! Cliff was very communicative leading up to the trip and gave us detail instructions. As soon as we met Cliff we knew we were in great hands. Cliff is experienced, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. Cliff made sure we all stayed safe and had a great day on the river. You can’t put a price on the amount of knowledge that Cliff has as a guide. We are all planning on booking another trip with Cliff as he’s been our most memorable guide to date. Can’t wait for more adventures with him!
Guide - Clifford did a great job. We planned a 1/2 trip. Clifford touched base prior to meeting up. His equipment worked very well for the type of fishing we were doing. He worked with each person as we fished. He changed things up at times to give us the best opportunity to land a fish. We really enjoyed ourselves.

After many years of different wilderness experiences both hunting and fishing with guides, I have to say that Cliff was by far the best! His professionalism, patience, caring and understanding made the trip relaxing and fun. He is well versed in the sport and was able to give us all of the knowledge we needed so that if we were to go again in the future we would be definitely be successful in our endeavors. He has a great personality and I look forward to working with him again soon!!
We did a lot of research (walking, boating, tour duration, etc) before the trip and decided to go with Clifford for 6 hours. We are very glad with our decision except that we had way too much fun that 6 hour ended up being too short!! Highly recommend to all!

Give Phil a call and be ready to learn & be patient and flexible as he is a good teacher - it takes a little bit for those unfamiliar with this water & its inhabitants to be coaxed this time of year until the steelhead come in more.
