This was a very memorable trip. I can’t thank Captain Shawn enough. I’ve been on a couple charters back home in Texas, but this was my favorite charter I’ve been on. We come to Florida each year and I’ve wanted a good fishing trip. Me, both my sons, and my father-in-law took the trip. We met Shawn at the ramp and he welcomed us on his boat and made us comfortable. It was both my sons first charter trip and He took the time to show both of them how to properly use their rods and cast. He was very patient with them, to the point that even when my youngest almost hooked him many times, he did not loose his cool at all(so he is great with kids/young teens.) You can tell that he is definitely a family man by the way that he worked with my boys. He even took the time to explain why things are done certain ways while fishing and the laws that we needed to follow to make sure that we are fishing responsibly and ethically. The first spot he took us to, we immediately saw a shark which was really cool. He hooked us up and we cast our lines, after a short time, I hooked my first snook, and it shocked me how powerful it was. It was a really good fight. Within 10 minutes, both of my boys also hooked snooks and got to fight with them. Since it was not in season we could not keep them, but just the experience of getting to fight with them was amazing, and for my boys to have that be there first experience fighting a fish will be a memory they will never forget. He took us to a trout spot, and we ended up hitting the trout hard. I have always wanted to catch trout, so this was a dream come true for me and I am very appreciative of him making this happen. We were literally casting our line out, pulling the slack, and immediately getting hits. So many hits at times, that we had to wait our turn for Captain Shawn to unhook the fish from our lines! Talk about a haul. I kept trying to take pictures, but we also kept getting interrupted by hooking fish so my pictures don’t actually show any fish. Other cool things we got to see were many dolphins rolling on the water and chasing their own meals, even a couple of them fully jumping out of the water. I saw a couple sea turtles as well which were really cool to look at. Captain Shawn is going to be my go to guide from now on when I come to Florida. Hearing his story and his journey to become a Captain, you can tell this is his passion. Not just himself fishing, but getting you on the fish and having a memorable experience. Even though at this current time his charter service is newer, you will immediately know just by being with him that he has a vast amount of experience, and knowledge to serve you as your guide Captain. If there is an Up and Coming service, it is definitely Walking on Water Fishing Charters. I can’t wait to get back here next year to do a scallop trip with him. Thank you Captain Shawn!

We recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing charter with Walk-In on Water Fishing Charters, and it was an experience we will never forget. Captain Shawn was our guide, and he is simply the best. From the moment we stepped aboard his boat, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about fishing, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Captain Shawn took us to all the best fishing spots, and we caught more fish than I could have ever imagined. He was patient and helpful, showing us how to properly cast our lines and reel in the fish. He was also great with my son & he had a blast catching fish with Captain Shawn's guidance. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary equipment for a successful fishing trip. Captain Shawn provided us with all the bait and tackle we needed. Overall, Walk-In on Water Fishing Charters was an incredible experience. Captain Shawn is the best guide around, and he made the whole trip fun, exciting, and memorable. Glad we chose Captain Shawn to guide us to some redfish! He is very knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I caught all sizes of reds and some trout too. If you have kids, he is the one you want to teach them how to fish and have a great time doing it. Can't wait to go again!!

We went out on a very hot day and still managed to catch red fish, sea trout, black drum, and flounder. We fished a few different spots. Captain Shawn was very outgoing and would definitely recommend him! We had a great time.
