If you're ready to experience fishing in Cedar Key, look no further than Breaking Nets Fishing Adventures.

Around here it's common to catch Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Snook, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Pompano, Bonnethead Sharks and sometimes more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask in advance if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your boat for the day is an 18' Key Largo bay boat with a capacity for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. NO GLASS BOTTLES OR CONTAINERS.

Trip of a lifetime with Capt Brandon !!!

Half Day 4 Hour Trip (AM) on March 20, 2024

If your looking for someone who makes it easy to catch fish, this is your guy. We immediately got on fish, right after a short run from the dock. In addition to catching fish Brandon kept us entertained by showing some of the local wildlife, which included dolphins and many bird species. Overall great trip, highly recommended, thanks Captain Brandon We will see you again next year!

Multiple trips with Captain Brandon Burke!

Half Day Family Fun on March 2, 2024

I’ve now been out on the water with Captain Brandon Burke quite a few times. There is never a dull moment! Rods are bent, there is good conversation, and he is both knowledgeable and helpful. The cherry on top, which is extremely important to me, is that he not only makes it fun for everyone, but he makes me feel SAFE. This wasn’t my first experience with him, and certainly will not be my last.

Awesome birthday fishing trip!

Half Day 4 Hour Trip (AM) on July 24, 2024 • 2 adults

Captain Brandon was absolutely awesome. I took my friend for a surprise birthday fishing trip. Captain Brandon had everything you could need rod reels the licensing, bait and water in the cooler. He took us to several different spots to make sure that my friend caught a fish and she did, a keeper red fish. Totally recommend Captain Brandon,  planning my next trip already!

Great morning fishing trip with Captain Brandon

Half Day 4 Hour Trip (AM) on July 1, 2024

I had a great time fishing with Captain Brandon. He never hesitated to move to different spots to put us on fish. I caught red fish, black drum and whiting. Brandon cleaned and filleted the fish, and I took the fish to the restaurant "Steamers", and they cooked it for my wife and me. I would highly recommend Captain Brandon for a fishing trip.
