Amberjack, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Kingfish, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Swordfish, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Capt. Cameron welcomes you aboard a 35’ Flybridge that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, plus a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle, along with lures, waiting for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation. The charter boat covers your fishing license for the day, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask, and your captain can tell you more.

8 Hour Trip
Destin fishing trip
We had a great trip with captain Cameron. We caught several fish while trolling to and from spots along with lots of trigger fish and mingo snapper. We caught way more fish than we were able to keep but still had plenty to take back home with us. We can’t wait to make the trip back down to Destin and get back on the water with Destin Expeditions.

Out run the rain
Crew was awesome, got out early and started bait fishing. Next time we will bottom fish first to fill the coolers and then troll for the hopes of the big one. We fished the edge of the rain band most of the day but still had a pretty good day.

6 Hr AM Trip with Capt Cameron
Thought the very early morning departure was going to be a problem, but no traffic what so ever and easy parking. Easy to find the boat with Captains instructions. We were not after any specific species of fish, my sons just wanted to catch fish. Also they wanted to catch a shark. They got their wish and fought a shark for an hour passing the shark between the two of them (both over 6'5"). It wore them out. They might think twice next time wanting a shark. Captain interviewed us as to what we wanted on our trip and delivered it. He allowed us to go all over the boat and was very approachable. The boat is of nice size with a head and was 'steady' in the ocean when we were 7 miles out from shore. We will definitely use Capt Cameron when we are back in Destin.

We had a great trip with captain Cameron. We caught several fish while trolling to and from spots along with lots of trigger fish and mingo snapper.
