If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Off The Hook Charters. Our captain has a passion for fishing and loves helping families make great memories out on the water.
These waters are known for Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Pompano, Blacktip Shark, and more, all depending on seasons and migratory fish patterns. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they're within the legal limit.
On the day of your trip, depending on weather conditions, you may venture out into the Gulf and fish nearshore (within 3 miles of the beach) or may stick to the Mobile Bay area. If you book during the Red Snapper season, you will fish for Red Snapper in state waters (within 9 miles of the beach)
Your capt. will bring you aboard a 24' Bay boat that carries up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide fishing licenses, bait, equipment, and tackle for you. He will also handle fish cleaning. It is pretty customary to add a gratuity for this service. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests (9 and under), so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It's always wise to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. please avoid bringing any glass bottles.

Needless to say I was skeptical about booking this trip because it was way cheaper than anything else I saw in this area. Glad i did, Captain David was great briefly talk to him before we got on the boat him being young for a fishing captain, he plainly staited fishing was his passion.He didnt disappoint, put us on fish at first location speckled trout. then again at 2nd location. Told David i would like to catch a small shark. Boom he said i know where we could get one. brought 2 to the boat before they cut line and landed the third all with in 20 minutes. We started of catching bait. After the captain caught enough bait took a pretty long ride to where we first started fishing 5 minutes in my wife caught a 15 lb red snapper and it was one after the other. We caught 2 big cobia. When we got back to the dock all our fish was cleaned and bagged. Captain Andy felt like family
The weather wasnt ideal, but the trip was still good. Capt David did a great job of putting us on fish. He had a great personality, and was great with my two sons. He made the trip a blast and would highly recommend going with him.
Our Captain, Perry, was very patient, calm, and welcoming. He brought his son along with him as a deck hand and he was adorable. We started out trying to cach some Trout and when we caught our limit we tried for some flounder. my wife caught 2 and I hooked a spanish Mackerel. The captian knows what he’s doing, so be patient and trust the process. Thanks alot for this unforgettable trip.
It was a great fishing experience. We caught lots of wish a good variety. We caught Red Fish, Red Snapper and Spanish Mackerel. Captian David was very good. Definitely Recommend. He was able to help out and made it a great time.
