Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they're within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

You'll be casting lines from a 21' Kenner center console with space for 6 passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time.

Don't forget to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
