These waters are known for Cobia, Pompano, Flounder, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Vermilion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Redfish, and more. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they're within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!
You'll be casting lines from a 21' Kenner center console with space for 6 passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time.
Don't forget to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

We had an amazing trip with Reel Fishin Charters and Captain Jordan! From the moment we left the dock, Captain Jordan worked hard to put us on fish and made sure everyone had a great time. The action was nonstop. We caught Spanish mackerel, landed a nice cobia, and hooked into more sharks than we could count! Every time we thought things might slow down, another rod would bend over. Captain Jordan’s knowledge of the local waters and fishing spots was impressive, and it was obvious he wanted us to have the best experience possible. The boat was clean, the equipment was in great shape, and Captain Jordan was friendly, professional, and patient throughout the trip. Whether you’re an experienced angler or taking your family out for a fun day on the water, I highly recommend Reel Fishin Charters. We made great memories, caught plenty of fish, and can’t wait to book another trip the next time we’re on the Gulf Coast. Thanks again, Captain Jordan!

My boyfriend and I went out with Jordan and he was absolutely AMAZING! I’m not very experienced in fishing and probably fished once in my lifetime. Jordan was absolutely so kind and amazing for reeling in all my poles. And was so knowledgeable about where all the fish were and wanted to make us happy and have a great time (which we absolutely did) He definitely was a TOP NOTCH guide and will be requesting him personally for our next charter next year. Thank you Jordan for a trip we will never forget!

Jordan was excellent and knowledgeable. We went out with several other boats to the same area. A nice intro to sea fishing for 4 of the 5 in our party and calming any safety concerns they had. Jordan did a great job helping a bunch of rookies! On me. Had I known how fast we’d be pulling fish and realized the scope and size of the boat I’d have probably gone bigger and requested a second crew member as Jordan was constantly running to bait hooks and pull fish in. If you’re new to this and have time, call and ask about the size of your group to ensure you have what you need. Again Jordan did an awesome job. At the end of the trip he cleaned and bagged the fish, explaining as he went to me and my teen boys the differences in fresh and salt. Great guy!

Caught our limit of Red Snapper. We literally lost count of how many fish we caught. Amazing time. I can’t recommend highly enough!!! Captain Jordan was amazing!!

Our captain burned his gas instead of burning my fishing time. we got out and started catching quickly. If you know how slow some boats are then you know the value of a fast boat. only thing better would be if the smaller boat had a sun shade. The 4hr inshore was a great value.
