Off The Hook Charters invites you and your family on a fishing trip on the beautiful Gulf Coast waters of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This charter is operated by Captain Drew who has been locally fishing for many years. He knows the best spots and is thrilled to share the beauty of this area and his fishing secrets with you!
Capt. Drew will take you out on his 24' Kenner center console boat, originally built in 2001, and restored in 2025. This boat is powered by a 150 HP yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 36 knots. There is enough room on the boat for up to 4 people fishing without feeling too crowded.
The vessel is fully equipped with all the best safety and navigational features such as a Garmin GPS and fishfinder, which are used to locate the schooling fish. The boat contains all the finest quality fishing gear and tackle that is user-friendly. There is also live and artificial bait and a fishing license.
The crew's number one goal is to provide a safe and fun fishing experience for your whole group. Cliff will share its knowledge with you and help you reel in as many fish as possible. The crew works hard to take its customers to the best spots while providing an opportunity to catch fish and have an adventure of a lifetime.
The captain will take you fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Pompano, Red Snapper, Cobia, King and Spanish Mackerel, and many more species, all depending on the fish migratory patterns and what is in season.
Your fishing grounds can be the shallow marshy back bay flats, the crystal clear beaches, and the nearby offshore reefs based on seasons and weather patterns. We will work hard to put you on the fish and make some great memories!

Big shout out to Capt. David and the Off the Hook fam. They come through when other plans fall through. A true last minute trip, and even though it was last minute OTH were still able to accommodate and provide us with an unforgettable experience. Def asking for Capt David. Explains procedures well and talks to you as a person and not at you like a bad ass child. Extremely helpful and professional. He knew what we wanted to catch and he put us on the bte immediately...... IMMEDIATELY! Like soon as I tossed my line in all I could do after that was listening to that drag peel. 10/10 highly recommend and will be booking again 🖊️ 😮💨🐟🐟🐟🐟😙🤌🏾 the Best

this was our first experience doing a fishing charter. We had a good time! we got start at 7 instead of 630, which was fine a they asked if ould be ok the night before. Drew put us in the best spot for trout and we maxed out within the first hour. I am not experienced at fishing and Drew was helpful with casting out my line and helping to reel in. No idea what I had on the line a couple times as one broke the line. My boyfriend hooked a shark and line snapped when it got to the surface. overall would recommend and had a great time. Drew had the best taste in music!!
Despite our trip having to be cut short due to inclement weather, James did an awesome job trying to get us on as many fish as possible before the storm came in. He also made sure i was comfortable with everything, including speed of boat, he knew I was nervous. The mission of this trip was accomplished with my husband catching a 20 pound red snapper. We will definitly give in another shot next time we visit Ft Morgan.
Capt Drew took us on a 4hr Inshore/Nearshore trip. We were at our first stop when he put us right on the red snapper. We also caught some spade fish and some speckled trout. Bite slowed down a bit but Capt Drew made sure we changed locations multiple times to make sure we had the best opportunity to get back on the fish, and he did just that. Highly recommend and we will be back!
