Welcome to the Renegade! We're docked at Zekes Marina. I've been fishing for a living for 10 years out of Orange Beach, but this is my first year owning a boat. I've worked all winter on her getting her ready for you and your family to come fishing with me.
The 46' Hatteras is equipped with great amenities and can accommodate up to 6 passengers. We've got air-conditioning, a restroom, comfortable seating, a working kitchen, and a Green Egg grill to accommodate any of your cooking and relaxing needs.
On the back deck, I've got an assortment of tackle and an outstanding First Mate to teach you about fishing in the Gulf of Mexico! My deckhand works for tips, just like a bartender. Customary gratuity is 20%.
We'll troll for pelagic fish such as King Mackerel, Spanish Mackeral, and Bonito as we ride the scenic Gulf Coast. On a 4-hour or longer trip, we can bottom fish for Triggerfish, Red Snapper, and various other reef fish. On these short trips, it's realistic to expect a fun day of catch-and-release fishing, with the hope of bringing home enough keeper fish to eat!
Your fishing license is included. All you need to bring are snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Children are welcome aboard, so feel free to make it an adventure for the whole family. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

We had 5 in our party and had a blast!!! My original booking was cancelled bc that Capt didn't want to comply with my request and I'm so glad he did! Capt Sam was more than happy to accommodate and his deckhand Gunner was great! There were 5 people fishing and he kept up with everyone, even though most of the time there were 3+ people needing assistance. We caught fish everywhere we went, and were able to keep enough for several meals. On the way back in we were able to sit at the top and talk to the captain.
All the wife’s in our family scheduled the trip for the husbands. Captain Sam put us on the fish even though it was an afternoon trip. It was great to have the air conditioned cabin to take a break when you get tired. The first mate made sure everybody’s 🪝 stayed baited and took the fish off
Captain Sam and his First Mate, Brian were awesome! Not only did our group each catch a Spanish Marlin, but we had a blast listening to our preferred choice of music and enjoyed the boat ride in the sunshine! We also got to see several dolphins jumping up close and personal due to Captain Sam’s excellent boat driving skills. This was a great way to spend time on our vacation! ~The Topels
Had two young ones with us in pretty rough water at the beginning then it chilled out and we caught our limit had a great time
We had such a great trip! The boat is awesome! It was a great mix of trolling and bottom fishing! Sam and Gunner were great!
