We’re likely to go after Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and more, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to drift using light tackle or anchored using croaker. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The captain can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 22’ Baymaster with a capacity for 5 passengers, or a 16” Shoalwater cat with comfortable capacity for 2 passengers. They have all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures or live bait.

Los Gringos Outfitters is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It’s always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag.
