Located in the heart of East Texas's best Bass fishing lakes, Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend. Either reservoir is available for trips. We specialize in shallow water or offshore fishing with electronics education as well. Youth pre-tournament practice and how to break down these massive East Texas reservoirs in a short amount of time.
These waters are home to Trophy Largemouth Bass as well as most of the other common Texas freshwater species. You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Kids are welcome aboard, so feel free to bring them along.
Ross operates a fully loaded Phoenix 21PHX Bass boat with a capacity for 2 passengers with the options for one more at an increased rate. It has all the essentials, including Hummingbird Mega 360 and Garmin Panoptix. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. All rods are custom-built in Texas, Power Tackle rods paired with Shimano or Lew's reels.
If the dates you have available show to be booked, please reach out to Ross via message on here. Often times if full-day trips are booked, he can work an afternoon trip in, depending on the time of year. It's recommended to bring snacks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Fish are not always biting but it helps to have a hard working Guide with great equipment. Our thanks to Captain Ross for a helpful and energetic day on Toledo Bend. He taught my Grandson and I new techniques and fishing skills that will greatly improve our chances of catching fish in the future. After growing up in West Kentucky on Barkley and Kentucky Lake where I began fishing, I moved to Texas in 2006. Luckily living near Lake Amistad and O.H. Ivie for over 13 years, in 2022, after fishing the Texas Shootout on Sam Rayburn, the decision was made to move. I live on the south end in Brookeland, TX. It has been a great decision for me and has allowed me to be on the water nearly every day between Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend.
