Captain Jennifer and Drifter Excursions welcomes you to the stunning waters of Hilton Head Island.
These waters are known for Blacktip, Bonnethead, Bull, Hammerhead, and Lemon Sharks, Whiting, Redfish and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish caught on these trips will be released.
You'll be casting lines from a 25' Center console. The Ricochet is a Coast Guard-inspected vessel that is licensed to take up to 12 passengers. On these trips, up to 12 guests are allowed for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Capt. Jennifer is happy to have kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it!
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!
A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had an amazing experience on this shark fishing trip with Jennifer and Ricky on the boat Ricochet, along with 5 kids ranging in age from 7–15 and 3 adults. From the moment we arrived, the crew was professional, engaging, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure every single person on the boat had a great time, especially the kids. What really stood out was how much effort they put into making the trip successful. They carefully tracked the tides and conditions to bring us to the best fishing spots, and you could tell they truly knew what they were doing. The crew explained everything in a way the kids could understand, kept everyone involved, and made the entire experience exciting from start to finish. Not only did we catch sharks, but we also made unforgettable memories as a family. The crew’s energy, professionalism, and passion for what they do made this trip one we’ll be talking about for a long time. We highly recommend this trip to families, beginners, and experienced anglers alike. We can’t wait to book another trip!

We had an amazing time on this fishing trip! The captain was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure our family had a great experience from start to finish. We brought our three kids, and they had an absolute blast. The highlight of the trip was catching four sharks, which made for an unforgettable adventure! The captain was patient with the kids and helped make the experience exciting and fun for everyone. Everything was top-notch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. We highly recommend this charter and would definitely book again!

We were a large party of 7 adults on a 3 hr morning shark excursion. Jen & Ricky were very knowledgeable, personable and informative. Great hosts & guides!! Caught 7 sharks in total including a couple different species. Not to mention the dolphin & manatee sightings! A great way to spend the morning & experience Hilton Head with knowledgeable guides! Thank you both! Be sure to bring waters, sunscreen & long sleeves. That sun is tough.

Our whole family had an amazing time on our trip fishing for sharks. We caught just about any type of shark we could, including a hammerhead (and a ray!), and all of us were able to participate. We especially loved watching our 1st mate throw out the net to catch bait, and everyone scrambling to throw them in the bucket, but nothing beats the thrill of being able to hold our catch each time. We'd all recommend this for family fun and togetherness. Thank you!

Captain Jen and Ricky were great! We caught 4 bull sharks and 1 black nose shark. Very knowledgeable of the area, super personable and made the experience perfect. 4 adults and 4 kids ages 10-13 and everyone had a great time! Would recommend to anyone looking.
