Capt. Derek welcomes you aboard Georgia’s largest charter fishing boat operating offshore from Tybee Island. Reel ‘Em N II is a 43 foot, 700+ HP, coastguard certified sportfishing vessel complete with a large shade awning, a cabin style mattress in the shade to relax on, and a spacious restroom below the deck. We offer exclusively private charters (we are not a party/head boat) and we are the only charter boat in the Savannah area that can accommodate groups of more than 6 - and up to 20 - passengers!
With trips from 4 hours to a full 12 hour day, come fish for Black Seabass, Sheepshead, Redfish, Amberjack, Spanish & King Mackerel Flounder, Barracuda, Grouper, Cobia, Dolphin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and more, depending on the season and length of your trip.
While we do provide all of the necessary fishing gear (I.e. rod & reel, bait, tackle) and licenses, don't forget to bring plenty of water and snacks so that everyone stays hydrated and energized! We also recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no hard liquor or glass bottles.

4 Hour Trip on July 3, 2025 • 7 adultsIt was less than favorable conditions, which prevented us from following the script, but they adapted to trolling and we caught 15 Spanish Mackerel and lost a nice King at the back of the boat. A lot of action for a four-hour trip. If we’re in the area in the future we’ll definitely book with Cpt. Derek and team! Also, we took our catch next door to Bubba Gumbo’s and they fried it up for us. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!

Would have preferred the earlier 7 am trip that was scheduled and confirmed. The 1st mate and captain did a great job locating fish. But they weren’t biting! 1st mate guaranteed fish and fish we caught once settling near a reef. Great vessel with ample shade and pristine bathroom. Fishing equipment was in excellent condition and the crew worked well together!

We highly recommend going out with these guys and bringing your catch to Bubba Gumbos! get it grilled and don’t forget the hush puppies and fried oysters!!
