Spend the day with Gone With The Fin Guide Service and get hooked on fishing in Matagorda. With Captain Ryan at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. Your vessel for the day is a 23’ Shoalwater bay boat with a capacity for 6 passengers.

Species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to drift or wade using light tackle. Capt. Ryan also offers Flounder gigging. Rods and reels are covered by the charter. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.

Had an awesome day fishing with Capt. Ryan. He was alot if fun to fish with and was very knowledgeable about the fishing area. We caught our limit of Speckled Trout(30), a keeper slot Redfish and had action pretty much all day. I would highly recommend Capt. Ryan and Gone With The Fin Charter Service
