Premier light tackle and fly charters on the Outer Banks! Capt. Matt Lusk is US Coast Guard licensed and insured and has years of experience fishing the waters of the Pamlico, Croatan, Albemarle, and Currituck Sound, as well as the nearshore waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Sea Hunt Bay Boat powered by a 300HP Yamaha motor and a 36V Minn Kota Trolling Motor. The boat also boasts a full tower with controls, and anglers are encouraged to enjoy the tower views. This boat is a true inshore/nearshore fishing machine!
The target species of the day depend on the weather/wind conditions of the day. Still, we often use spinning gear with artificial lures to target Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Bluefish, and Flounder in the sounds and Cobia, Amberjack, False Albacore, and/or Mahi inshore when conditions allow. The captain will provide all tackle and gear, but anglers can bring their own.
No need to purchase a fishing license, as Capt. Matt has a 'blanket' license to cover everyone on the boat. Just show up ready to fish! You're welcome to bring a small-medium size cooler with any food and drinks.
Captain Matt does not provide fish cleaning services. There's a fish cleaning crew at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, or anglers can bring the fish home. Bring a cooler/way to transport them home.

He took us to several places throughout the inlet to get us a great variety of fish. Matt also takes great photos of us and the fish. We had a great time and definitely will try to book again.
