Laurier also offer fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
The captains operate an 24f foot Arrowline center console with space for 3-4 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Perfect highlight to our vacation. Although I fell ill to sea sickness and had to cut our day short, captain Laurier was very kind and considerate. We started our day strong and were put onto fish very quickly despite unfavorable weather conditions. Captain Laurier's experience and local knowledge is second to none, his boat and equipment are all in top notch condition. We felt cared for and looked after every minute we were on his vessel. I would definitely recommend jigging for bait fish to use as live bait as its very interactive and exciting. I will definitely book this charter again in the future.
Had a very successful and very fun trip with Laurier. Overall it was a very exciting experience that had our adrenaline pumping every second of the trip. At one point, Laurier got a salmon on both rods for my spouse and I to reel in at the same time. Huge salmon, and proven that he knows the waters and has a ton of experience. At one point I got sea sick so he brought us to a place with calmer waters and still landed us salmon. He knows the spots! Bonus, he took us to see a sea otter as well as a momma bear and her two cubs. Highly recommend!
What an amazing day! I went on this fishing trip one-on-one with the captain, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The fishing was fantastic, but what made the trip truly special was being so close to nature. Seeing bears on the shoreline and sea lions in the wild was just incredible. The captain was super friendly, explained everything along the way, and made sure I had a great time from start to finish. At the end of the trip, he even filleted and vacuum-packed all of my fish, which was a huge bonus. Even with the rainy weather, it was absolutely worth it. I had an unforgettable day and would book this trip again without hesitation. Highly recommended! Frank from Germany

Thank you for the great review and the pictures!! You are welcome to come fish next time youre in town!

Took out my family (kids 9 and 6). Captain was patient and engaging with my kids, helping to keep them engaged and happy. He put us on fish. We only ended up pulling in 1 salmon, but that’s how it goes sometimes. We saw 3-4 bears throughout the trip - which my kids loved. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon out on the water. Book this without hesitation!
My son and I had the ultimate experience fishing experience thanks tonCapt Lauriette. He was awesome and this trip is unforgettable. The Capt really worked hard to give us the experience we wanted. We caught our limit of Chinnook and Coho, a ton of rockfish and we even headed to deeper waters for a halibut. The experience could not have been better.
