We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Laurier and couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! I took my three sons, and Captain Laurier was friendly and worked hard to put us on the fish. We caught some beautiful fish, and the excitement on my boys’ faces made it a day we’ll never forget. Captain Laurier is probably one of the hardest working guides out there. He tirelessly checked rods, lines and lures to ensure we had the best chance of catching fish as much as possible, and he got us on tons of different species - halibut, rockfish, lingcod and salmon - even when the fishing was tough and the conditions weren't optimal. I already want to go on another charter with him, and I'm definitely looking forward to booking again with Big Bite Charters!!
What an amazing day! I went on this fishing trip one-on-one with the captain, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The fishing was fantastic, but what made the trip truly special was being so close to nature. Seeing bears on the shoreline and sea lions in the wild was just incredible. The captain was super friendly, explained everything along the way, and made sure I had a great time from start to finish. At the end of the trip, he even filleted and vacuum-packed all of my fish, which was a huge bonus. Even with the rainy weather, it was absolutely worth it. My son and I had the ultimate experience fishing experience thanks tonCapt Lauriette. He was awesome and this trip is unforgettable. The Capt really worked hard to give us the experience we wanted. We caught our limit of Chinnook and Coho, a ton of rockfish and we even headed to deeper waters for a halibut. The experience could not have been better.
My and my family joined Big Bite charters; communication beforehand was al good. We were not to experienced, Laurier was very helpful, even with the kids. Despite slow fishing/difficult wheather in the afternoon, Laurier made a true effort to get decent fish, which was a great succes in the end! We enjoyed some nice home made fish and chips the day after. Good to know; the boat has little shelter and jigs are not provided.
