We had an awesome experience with Rebel Sport Fishing Charters out of Ucluelet. Graham was really responsive and easy to communicate with, which made booking and getting everything set up super smooth. Raph was the one who took us out fishing, and he was great. He was a super cool guy, really funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip a good time. He put us on a really solid spot where we got hit multiple times by salmon, landed one salmon, and also caught five lingcod. You can tell these guys know the area and care about making sure you have a good experience. The trip was fun, relaxed, and productive, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to fish out of Ucluelet.
I was considering cancelling my fishing trip after going through an unexpected personal misfortune days before, and couldn't be happier that I decided to keep my reservation. We caught plenty of fish including salmon, cod and rockfish which the captain did a very professional job of cleaning up later. The waters and surrounding landscapes were beautiful. Ralph even pointed out a few passing harbour porpoises, which was really cool. He clearly has a firm command of these waters and the fish that inhabit them, and most of all is just a pleasant guy to spend a day with.
Captain Marcus had us on the fish instantly! We dropped our lines, five minutes later it was fish on!! The boat is on the shorter side but doesn't feel cramped. It was probably an advantage, when it actually came to fishing and landing fish. We were the first boat to fill our limit of Chinook Salmon and head to the bottom fishing grounds. Where once again, Marcus put os on fish instantly. The only reason I would not recommend this charter, is because I don't want them to be booked out when I want to go back.
Wir haben eine 6 Stunden Tour gebucht und waren insgesamt zu 3. Es war eine gute Tour das Wetter war aber leider nicht auf unserer Seite. Wir mussten nach knapp 4 Stunden abbrechen. Das war aber auch absolut in Ordnung, da wir mir Raff gut gefangen haben. Es lief passende Musik und die Stimmung war ausgelassen. Der Guide war die ganze Zeit positiv gestimmt und super gut drauf. Vielen Dank!
We had a fantastic day and cought 2 Canary Rockfish and a Pink Salmon! All within 1.5 hrs of fishing
