Sailfish, Amberjack, Blue Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, Spanish Mackerel, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.
Capt. Juri runs a 30' Boston Whaler offshore sport fishing vessel that can carry up to 10 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

My son had never got a huge fish before so for us to catch 4 huge sailfish, it was a dream come true! We also caught a handful of grouper that they filet’d for us to take home! Juri and Johnny made an awesome duo and we would defintely book with them again next time we are in Costa Rica! They had plenty of ice cold drinks, fresh coconut, and an awesome lunch for us! We had an awesome full day of fishing with Juri and Johnny!!! My son had never got a huge fish before so for us to catch 4 huge sailfish, it was a dream come true!
