Hi folks! Captain Jason is here to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience on the water and to do his best, using his local knowledge, to get a fish at the end of your line!
You’re likely to go after Redfish, Speckled Trout, Bonito, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Cobia, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, and more, depending on the conditions. On these trips, you can expect to sight cast and bottom fish using light tackle.
You’ll be casting lines from a 20’ Hewes Light Tackle bay boat, suitable for fishing in the ocean and the backwater creeks of the area. Capt. Jason will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures, tackle, and ice. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
Bring drinks and snacks for the journey. Alcohol is ok in moderation, but please, no glass bottles. Free parking is also available!

Exactly what we were looking for

I grew up fishing but it’s hard to know where to fish when you come to another state. Captain Jason was great. He drove around the island and got us on some fish. He met our level of experience and cleaned the one fish we wanted to keep for a dinner. Even if we didn’t catch any fish, couldn’t have asked for a better captain and experience on the water. Definitely my favorite part of the trip and would recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a fishing trip. The two hour morning session was exactly what we wanted to fit in but would love to come back and fish with him for a longer trip next time!

Awesome Trip - Would Book Again!!!

I booked this trip for my fiancée’s 40th birthday and it was so much fun. Captain Jason, while professional and knowledgeable, had a flexible and laid back attitude which was exactly what we were looking for. He tailors the trip to be exactly what you want. He took us to several different spots, helped teach us about all the different kinds of wildlife in the area, not only the fish we were catching! He was friendly and had some great stories to share with us. We caught several fish (pig fish, pin fish, croaker, lizard fish, and three flounder (which unfortunately North Carolina regulations forced us to release). As people who don’t fish often, we felt on top of the world! We loved being out on the water regardless, and I think this tour can be for inexperienced or very experienced folks. Captain Jason was AWESOME! We hope to be back!!

Captain Jason is like fishing with a friend. Calm, helpful, never pushy, and knows the waters. My wife and I wanted a quiet, stress free, morning on the water and Jason delivered. I've been out with dozens of captains and I can't think of a nicer person. Made us feel at home the whole time and we caught a lot of fish even though it was off season with the highest temps of the summer. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation if you have a small group.

Jason did a great job. He went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I were catching a wide variety of fish. We caught flounders, pigfish, pinfish, a lizard fish, a small stingray, a tiny shark, and several croakers. He is a very experienced guide, with lots of knowledge about the area and saltwater fishing in general. Twice we had multiple fish hooked. Our two hour trip was lots of fun and highly recommended.
