As the owner and operator of Walk It Back Charters, Captain Josh specializes in inshore and nearshore fishing, offering trips tailored to anglers of all skill levels –from first-timers to seasoned fishermen chasing a personal best.
Captain Josh’s passion lies in early morning topwater fishing, especially targeting Redfish and Speckled trout. There’s nothing quite like the explosive strike of a Redfish at first light or watching a Speckled trout crush a topwater plug in calm water. Those heart-pounding moments are what he loves most – and what he works hard to create for every guest on board.
You’ll fish aboard a Robalo Cayman 226 bay boat, a spacious and versatile platform designed for comfort and performance. With plenty of seating and ample dry storage throughout, the boat provides a smooth, enjoyable ride while keeping your gear secure and your experience comfortable.
Beyond the water, Captain Josh is proud to give back to the community through his annual flounder tournament, “The Flatty Classic.” Open to both youth and adult anglers, the event raises funds that are donated to veterans and local charities – reflecting his commitment to supporting the community that has supported him for decades.

I mainly focus on inshore fishing but am well rounded in both inshore and nearshore/offshore fishing. I run a 22' Robalo Cayman. The boat is very spacious, stable, and lots of dry storage hatches.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
