Tarpon, Permit, Snook, Bonefish, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. On these trips, it's common to spin. Capt. Alejandro also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. Any fish you catch will be released.
Your trip begins aboard a 23' panga with room for 2 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.

I booked this for my 14 year old’s b-day and it was great! Alejandro was very easy to communicate with leading up to the trip, and our Captian Beto was awesome on the day of. We caught Tarpon, barracuda, sea trout and jack fish, and saw sting rays and a bunch of other wildlife as well. Will do it again if we can!

Saul and Chai really oniw their tarpon fishing. A after arriving at the location, we immediately saw the tarpon jumping out of the water eating bait fish. We hooked into at least eight or 10 tarpon over 50 pounds each. We had an amazing time chasing tarpon all morning. I highly recommended to anyone looking for a tarpon trip. I will definitely be back next time.

Until he was 6, he lived at Cabo Catoche where his grandfather, and then father, were the lighthouse keepers and coconut farmers.
