Book your next trip with Hooked Up Again Charters and find out what makes the fishing in Ludington so unique. With Captain Dave at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. Your excursion begins aboard a 29’ BAHA Sport fish that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
You’re likely to fish for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to troll. Captain Dave will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

I would definitely book again. We hooked into 8 big salmon but only landed 3. But that's what happens sometimes. Capt. Dave was great and his mate was awesome. Ill be back sometime and I will definitely book with them again.

We had a great time with Captain Dave and first mate Teddy. The fish were down there early but didn’t seem hungry. We all landed a nice fish. King, Cohos & a Steelhead. Captain Dave filleted them and we grilled one that night at the rental. Delicious! I would book with him again.

The guys worked hard to get us on fish and even kept us out late to catch a couple more. We had a blast! Highly recommend! Lake Michigan/Ludington views were amazing too.

Great time and caught fish
Capt. Dave and his first mate teddy were highly experienced and friendly. He stayed out an extra hour to try and catch more fish. We ended up catching 9 Steelhead. Great trip would use them again.
