If you're on vacation in the famous Flamingo area in Costa Rica, join Ocean Life and experience fishing off the coast of Playa Flamingo! The charter is owned by Valentina Peverali who fell in love with the area and decided to pursue her passion. Captain Luis will maximize your time on these beautiful waters.
Cruise the waters on their 47 Ft Post sport fishing. The boat can accommodate up to 12 people, 6 out of which can fish at the same time, so bring your friends and have some fun. The first mate joins in for larger parties, so you can be sure that you're in good hands.
The captain will provide all the fishing equipment, and you'll be fishing using frozen bait and live bait. Make sure to bring a fishing license. If you want to taste the fruits of your labor upon your return home, the captain will be happy to clean your catch. You can explore the underwater world by snorkeling since there's always equipment on board for 12 people.
You'll head out up to 20 miles offshore, targeting a variety of species. You can do some trolling for Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Roosterfish, Tuna,Sailfish, Marlin, and Wahoo. If you'd like to do some bottom fishing, you can target Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack.
Kids of all ages are welcome, so bring your family on a nice fishing expedition to make some amazing new memories. Life jackets will be provided for your safety, and the crew is CPR-trained, so you have nothing to worry about. You can just relax and enjoy the beautiful views while reeling in some monsters!
You'll have drinks and a good lunch on board, also the possibility to cook onboard the catch of the day. All you really need is some sunscreen, and you're all set.

We chartered the boat for half a day and hoped to catch some fish and maybe see some wildlife. We ended up catching a Yellow Fin tuna which was rare for half a day Skip Jack tuna and some red snapper. The crew was amazing. One of the people in our party got sick and they did a great job of taking care of her to the point where she was better and able to finish the last part of the trip. we had a huge bonus on our tour with several humpback whales around the boat feeding, some of them came within 30 to 50 feet or closer to the boat. We also saw sea turtles swimming and a school of stingray while we were out, amazing half day of fishing and nature watching. I can't say enough great things about Alex and his crew. They were absolutely phenomenal. The boat was great, full bar, snacks and lunch.

Fishing was slow, but the captain and crew exceeded any expectations we had. The boat is fully stocked with food and drinks, floats, and swimming gear. Top Notch crew.

we had Alex for a Captain and Jonathon and Elmer as our 2 mates/hands. i would reccomend tgese guys all day. we had a loy of fun and did catch some fish including a 40lb grouper on a slow day for most everyone else.

Everything was great. Organized, easy lead-up. They asked and arranfed to do exactly what we wanted. And since we didn't have a ton of experience, they recommended things and we sid them, and it was great. Everyone in our group caught at least one regular fish, and we caught two big ones (60 & 50 pounders). Took some home. Crew was great. Not too much, not too little.

The boat and crew were awesome. we had 9 people they did a great job taking us fishing and snorkeling. The food and drinks were very good as well. Would highly recommended
