Jill Louise Headboat – 50' Evans
*** WITH THE RISING COST OF FUEL, THE PRICE INCLUDES THE 10% FUEL SURCHARGE . THANK YOU.
The Jill Louise with Captain Dave can hold up to 30 people. The boat can hold large private or public groups. The $90 per person price is for a public trip. Jill Louise isn't your average Headboat; she’s agile and able to get you into the skinny waters where other headboats can't get to. Please inquire about our private trip prices. Wanchese has a fish with your name on it, so let Outer Banks Charter Fishing Adventures help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Keith can tell you all about them.
Species like Flounder, Whiting, Bluefish, Mackerel, Black Seabass, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Pompano, Redfish, Gray Triggerfish, Weakfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 50’ Evans headboat with a capacity for 30 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water, including an ice-cold air-conditioned cabin! There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you aboard.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Please bring sunblock. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.
NOTE: We need 15 people to make a trip go.
No shared Bachelor parties only private trips.

captain Dave and Cole were awsome. had 4 grandsons age 7-11 and all caught fish. 29 total. Cole was great explaining how what and why to the kids with everyting he did. and he worked his butt off keepin up with all the fish they were catching. boat is great, smooth ride and roomy. even later in the day when waves started getting large it was great. overall awesome first ocean fish trip for grandsons.

Thankyou James for the great review. Hope yo see you next summer.
Captain Dave and Cole were amazing! we had almost 20 in our party. They kept people safe and bait on the hooks! They knew all of the best spots! We ended up bringing home 59 fish! We were able to clean thr fish right there at the dock and had to them for dinner that night! It was a fun and rewarding experience! Not only would I recommend them and this trip, i would go back out with them again and again when im in the OBX. Definiately consider them if you want to catch some fish!

Thank you for the kind words. Dave and Cole really appreciate it.

Our family included my parents (70+), my brother (41) and his kids (6 & 8), and myself (42) and my husband (47). There is a wide range of freshwater fishing experience in our crowd, but none of us have much experience with saltwater. We also happened to be in the area the week that a tropical storm was passing by offshore (Imelda), so there was more wind and waves than usual. The crew were attentive to our needs and abilities. They made sure that we were able to catch fish AND feel good. Though we didn't end up going far off shore, we still ended up in some pretty choppy water which caused two of us to feel out of sorts. The captain noticed and offered to take us back into the sound. He explained that we'd likely feel better, but we'd catch different (and likely smaller fish), so the experience would be much different. We appreciated his attention to our condition, honest assessment, and the opportunity to choose how to proceed. We did opt to move into the sound where everyone felt much better. We seemed to catch fewer fish in the sound, and they were smaller, but with everyone feeling good we had a much better time. We are eager to try again hopefully with calmer seas!

hello stacy. thank you for the kind review and understanding . The weather changes quickly and the fishing can too. Great to have a group like yall onboard. Lets try again next year. Thank you
We booked the #C Jill Louise for a private morning charter for our family group of ten. Dave and Cole were ready to go on time and welcomed us on board to a clean and well outfitted boat. The weather was not ideal and the water was quite rough, but we had a wonderful time. After limited success trolling, they took us further out to sea and got us into some great fishing. The crew worked hard to keep up with getting fish off, checking bait and getting our hooks back in the water as fast as possible. It was obvious that both Dave and Cole were genuinely engaged and eager to make sure we had a successful outing. It was also obvious that they were experienced and knew what they were doing. We will definitely book again next time we visit the Outer Banks.

Thank you Donald . We really appreciate the great review and business. See you next year

I didnt get both sides of the story but if half of what I heard is true fishingbooker should be ashamed of blocking this great boat and crew from being booked on their site. I understand guide/customer disputes are difficult but blocking a service this good is a travesty.

Thank you for the great review Leo. Hopefully we will be back online soon. see you next year.
