Jill Louise Headboat – 50' Evans
The Jill Louise with Captain Dave can hold up to 30 people. The boat can hold large private or public groups. The $90 per person price is for a public trip. Jill Louise isn't your average Headboat; she’s agile and able to get you into the skinny waters where other headboats can't get to. Please inquire about our private trip prices. Species like Flounder, Whiting, Bluefish, Mackerel, Black Seabass, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Pompano, Redfish, Gray Triggerfish, Weakfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 50’ Evans headboat with a capacity for 30 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water, including an ice-cold air-conditioned cabin! There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you aboard.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.
NOTE: We will have to cancel the trip if we dont meet our minimum of 15 people

Half Day Trip – Private (AM)
All expectations met!
We booked the #C Jill Louise for a private morning charter for our family group of ten. Dave and Cole were ready to go on time and welcomed us on board to a clean and well outfitted boat. The weather was not ideal and the water was quite rough, but we had a wonderful time. After limited success trolling, they took us further out to sea and got us into some great fishing. The crew worked hard to keep up with getting fish off, checking bait and getting our hooks back in the water as fast as possible. It was obvious that both Dave and Cole were genuinely engaged and eager to make sure we had a successful outing. It was also obvious that they were experienced and knew what they were doing. We will definitely book again next time we visit the Outer Banks.

THE BEST TIME!
Captain Dave and Cole were the best! We booked a private half day trip for four adults and three kids. (ages 10 and twins that are twelve.) They are friendly and great with children which we appreciated. Cole took the time to teach us how to catch and properly real them in to maximize the amount of fish we secured. We caught more fish than we could eat! The ride was smoother than the past times I have been fishing on the ocean. No one got sick which was 👍👍👍. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you’re thinking of booking a trip, book these guys!

Half Day Trip – Shared (Late AM)
Rainy start turns into race to catch biggest Bluefish
As usual, Capt Dave and Cole put us on the fish! We Started off catching flounder. Then we heard reports of other charters catching blues in the sound. We moved to the spot and the race was on! Everyone started hauling in HUGE blues. I haven’t seen big ones like that in years. There may have been a few sting rays as well and one stunning speckled trout that could have been on the front of a magazine. Fantastic trip!

Captain Dave and crew mate Cole were amazing. They worked so well together making everything run smoothly. For a group of rookies this trip was amazing. Cole took time to teach the teens how to unhook the fish and was very patient as we all learned how to pull in the hand lines. Everyone had a great time.
