Country Girl Fishing Charters
Welcome to Country Girl Charters – Outer Banks Fishing at Its Finest
The legacy of Outer Banks fishing is alive and well at Country Girl Charters. Custom built in 1990 by legendary Outer Banks boatbuilder Buddy Can
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mako Shark, Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, and anything else that bites. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Charles can also help you try kite fishing.
You’re welcome to take home the fish you catch, provided they’re within limits. Now that’s dinner! You can also have your catch cleaned at the dock for an additional fee.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a custom-made 57’ Buddy Cannady offshore sport fishing vessel with room for 12 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip 10-20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Country Girl Fishing Charters will make it easy for you to go fishing in Manteo. So, how about booking that trip?
