Country Girl Fishing Charters
Welcome to Country Girl Charters – Outer Banks Fishing at Its Finest
The legacy of Outer Banks fishing is alive and well at Country Girl Charters. Custom built in 1990 by legendary Outer Banks boatbuilder Buddy Can
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mako Shark, Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, and anything else that bites. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Charles can also help you try kite fishing.
You're welcome to take home the fish you catch, provided they're within limits. Now that's dinner! You can also have your catch cleaned at the dock for an additional fee.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a custom-made 57' Buddy Cannady offshore sport fishing vessel with room for 12 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip 10-20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Country Girl Fishing Charters will make it easy for you to go fishing in Manteo. So, how about booking that trip?

Great family fishing experience the captain Charles got us right on the fish first couple minutes the lines went in the water. The deckhand Nate was also great with the kids and very helpful with our kids ( which god bless him they can be a handful). All in all we caught about 30ish fish all together including mackerel, spanish mackerel, blue fish and some jacks. I will absolutely book another trip! as always thanks for a fun filled time

Thanks Jason. Glad yall had a good time.
Our group of 11 family members, from young kids to grandparents, had a fantastic trip! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the crew was friendly, professional, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time. The fishing started out a bit slow, but the captain made the right call and switched us to bottom fishing. That turned out to be a great decision because the action really picked up and everyone was catching fish. The crew was patient, helpful, and great with anglers of all experience levels. The best part was taking our catch home and making delicious fish tacos that night. We made some wonderful family memories and wouldn’t hesitate to book this charter again. Highly recommend!

So glad yall had a great time. Thank you so much for the awesome review.

We had an amazing fishing trip! We caught a ton of fish and had a great time from start to finish. The first mate was absolutely fantastic with my kids—patient, helpful, and made sure they had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this crew to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing trip!
