Depending on conditions and your goals for the day, we fish offshore, along the reef, or in the backcountry and inshore waters. Target species vary by season and may include snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, cero mackerel, kingfish, and other hard-fighting, great-eating fish.

Great trip!

We had a great trip with Conch Too, Joel put in the work to make sure everyone had a good time and caught fish. Even though we knew that the Sailfish/Wahoo bite was slow he still put in all the effort to try and get us on one. After giving it his best effort, he decided to go back in towards the reef and go for Snapper/Mackerel. We managed to put a good mess of fish in the boat and had a great time. Joel was also great with my 6 yr old the entire trip, letting him ask all the questions and be involved every step of the way. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to go fishing with him again!

Great Day on the Water

6 Hour Trip (AM) on December 29, 2025 • 4 adults

I booked a 6 hr morning charter with Joel for my family of 4. Prior to the trip Joel communicated with me to make sure any questions were answered. The day of the trip we were able to park right at the boat and we were off the dock right on time. Joel took the time to ask us what we wanted to target and provided some great advice. The boat was comfortable, very clean, and all the tackle was in excellent condition. We had a productive day and caught a variety of fish. We really enjoyed fishing with Joel, not only is he an excellent fisherman, but was friendly and engaging. My wife hauling in a good size barracuda was fantastic and we ended up with a bunch of nice size mutton, mackerel, and a small shark (which the boys thought was cool). Joel and Tony cleaned all the fish and let us know of a great local spot that prepared it. If you are looking for a great day on the water with a quality captain I would highly recommend Joel on The Conch Too. Looking forward to our next trip.

Joel demonstrated great professionalism and put us on the fish right from the start. The captain remained attentive throughout the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and safely. This trip was far more than just a day of fishing — it was an educational and memorable experience. 10 Foot Tiger Shark

6 Hour Trip (AM) on October 18, 2025 • 2 adults

We went out with Joel and his mate Tony. What an amazing trip , we asked to put us on what ever is biting and they took us to their favorite grouper spots. If there wasn’t any action they didn’t hesitate to pull anchor and relocate. I really appreciate that vs. captains that seem to care more about fuel conservation. Well they put us on the fish and boy did we have a day. About an hour left in the trip we get to our last spot to try and outta no where a 10 foot tiger shark swims right up to the boat in the chum slick. Capt. looked at me and asked you wanna try and catch it ? ( like there was any other answer besides yes) He had that shark hooked up 15 minutes later. My self and my girlfriend fought that beautiful monster for close to 40 minutes. He set us up for success with his knowledge his gear and his willingness to satisfy his customers. If you’re reading this don’t bother booking with anywhere else , you’ll be happy you went with Conch Too!!

The captain and crew hand worked very hard the whole trip. A cold front had pushed in and shutdown the offshore bite , so we headed into the reefs and were able to catch several nice kingfish. The mate was extremely patient with my wife and sister and we all had a great time.
