If you find yourself in Key West, Florida with an urge to go after some fish, Capt. Conch Charters is here to provide. Captain Tony is a Key West native and has been fishing the local waters for over four decades. Along with his mate Jerry, he will do his best to provide you with the best fishing experience possible in this part of Florida.
The boat you will be using is the Reef Runner II, a 34’ Crusader offshore sport fishing boat powered by a 400 HP Caterpillar engine. It is a very sturdy offshore fishing vessel, equipped with outriggers, downriggers, a live bait tank, as well as a fighting chair. In short, everything needed for a productive trip into inshore or offshore waters.
This part of Florida is blessed with a wide variety of fishing options open for any potential angler. On a private trip, you can decide what you want to go after, and it can be anything from bottom fishing for Red Snapper to trolling for Mahi Mahi or Marlin. The inshore waters are home to a variety of Sharks, which can make for a fun family trip.
Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of any given trip, and so are all the necessary fishing licenses. Lunch bags can be bought for a $10 fee, and bringing a pair of polarized sunglasses is very much recommended.
