Capt Conch Charters- Reef Runner II 

We booked a shared charter, which saved costs, however we rotated turns to reel in catches. DJ was our mate and was phenomenal, he had 4-6 lines going at all times. We did a 3/4 day charter, two of us then 4 others also were booked. everyome was friendly and we all felt ownership of all the catches (although DJ really did most of the work). We split the edible fish amongst parties that wanted some, and although only 2 mahi keepers, it was enough for everyone to have a small meal (which we’ll tske to one of many restaurants that will gril it for us). We rotated turns reeling, i had one decent fish then a dud. We got a few mahi mahi, two non-keepers and two keepers. i know many trips come back unfruitful to no fault of captain or mate, we ended up the best boat out there with mahi & a trophy sailfish. another group brought a full cooler with drinks and food, we brought snacks, a few drinks and suscreen, boat had waters on ice for us.

Captain Gill and Eddie were absolutely great! Even though fishing had been slow in the area they were able to fish hard and get us on some great Mahi fishing. There as 6 of us on a 3/4 day trip and we all got on multiple species of fish. It was an overall amazing experience and wold highly recommend. Will definitely be my go to charter any time I find myself in the Keys!

What a great day of fishing and being on the boat! We caught a bunch of barcuda and a mahi/ dolphin fish! We would have loved to catch more "eating" fish, but it just wasn't meant for that day...however, we learned so much about the area, equipment, and had the best time. We also loved that it wasn't a super over crowded experience. We were on our honeymoon, so it was nice to have the small group (us and another couple).

The ladies caught 2 mahi mahi fish (1bull 1cow). My bf caught a 20lb bull mahi mahi. The first mate guided us to reel it in & The Best Part -- he fileted the fish on the Dock!... We all walked away with FRESH FISH. A local restaurant cooked our FRESH CATCH.

Highly recommended! they really worked to help is catch as many fish as possible. we are not experienced fishermen and they made it easy for us and really tried to let us catch more! Lots of snappers and my wife caught a shark!

The crew was fantastic! They made fishing fun and easy. They knew where to go, had the right lure and poles, covered the licenses, filleted the fish, told stories, made memories, and became fishermen friends for life.

We had a very enjoyable 3/4 day fishing trip. Caught black fin tuna & yellow fin. He baited hooks, put on new leaders, and did an excellent job fileting our fish when we returned.

We each caught about 15-20 fish, apiece, and there was a trophy King Mackerel and a 13 foot hammerhead caught! What more can you ask for.....

We had a lot of fun. Everyone only caught one fish but any day on the water is better than a day at work. Crew was awesome, hard working and very engaging.

The captain and first mate were very professional and did a great job locating the fish! Everyone caught fish and there was more than enough for all to enjoy!
