BC Coastal Fishing
BC Coastal Fishing invites you to experience the stunning waters of Comox. Your guide for the day is Captain Chris, which means you'll tap into years of knowledge and experience.
Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Cod, Rockfish, Lingcod, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. For these species, you're likely to troll using light tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 25' Fish Hawk pilothouse with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Chris has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with BC Coastal Fishing.

Captain Chris put us on the fish. His experience Salmon fishing and knowledge of the comox fishing grounds kept us all busy catching from the moment he put the lines in the water. Three of us had never fished for salmon before, Chris is an excellent, calm, patient fishing guide, who allowed the boys to have fun and be successful at landing Salmon all day long. Thank you, captain for creating a memorable day. We look forward to our next adventure with BC coastal fishing. Cheers The Buoys
Thanks for coming out! Good times!
Long time angling family whom recently sold the family boat. Was thoroughly impressed with Captain Chris's knowledge, equipment and especially his boat. Super comfortable for the 4 Salmon slayers and the Captain. Was a great trip and would recommend to anyone visiting Comox Valley and area. Mike
Would recommend to all. Chris is a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable. We will be returning! Sean
