BC Coastal Fishing invites you to experience the stunning waters of Comox. Your guide for the day is Captain Chris, which means you’ll tap into years of knowledge and experience.
Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Cod, Rockfish, Lingcod, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to troll using light tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 25’ Fish Hawk pilothouse with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Chris has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with BC Coastal Fishing.
