Spend the day with McBride Outside Guide Service and see what’s biting in Mannford!
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Catfish, White Bass, Paddlefish, Crappie, and plenty more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.
Capt. Trent runs a 22’ Predator center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Trent has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Winter fun!

Pretty cold day with the wind but its expected being December! braving the cold we were able to get out and Captain McBride got us to a few fishing spots. Got a big 20+ lb catfish and a few eating size fish. Was a fun trip and Caprian McBride was full of great conversation. Has a really nice center console boat that was very comfortable ride and easy to fish out of it. Highly recommend reaching out and ketting him take you fishing!

Great Day on the Lake
6 Hour Trip AM (Full day) on March 19, 2025 • 2 adults
My son and I were on Spring Break and decided to do some fishing. Found Trenton online and his reviews were spectacular so we booked. Initially, our trip was postponed due to high winds--we were flexible so it all worked out. Met Trenton at the dock and what a great guy! He's friendly, very knowledgeable, good natured and just an easy person to get along with. We briefly talked about what we'd be fishing for--mainly catfish--and since both myself and my son are experienced fishermen, we got started right away. Fishing was slow--these things happen---but it wasn't the quantity of fish that we caught but the quality that made the difference. I caught several 5-7 lb blue cats and my son caught a 12 lb and a 24 lb hog of a blue cat--his personal record. Trenton's knowledge of the lake clearly shown through! We will definitely book him again if we get the chance in the future.

This was my first fishing charter and my first time fishing on a REAL boat,Great experience. Best birthday I’ve ever had, captain made sure we got our moneys worth. Just me and my girlfriend pulled in a little over 20lbs of catfish in 4hrs & beat my PB TWICE😮💨I may have to start going out with cap once a month to fill the freezer.

It was a great afternoon on the water. Captain Trenton is very knowledgeable. We caught the fish species that we wanted. He took us to a honey hole and were one short of our big fish max. I can't thank the Captain enough for the fun and smile my grandson had today. I highly recommend him for Skiatook Lake.
