I wanted to start off by saying that I normally don’t leave reviews in general—good or bad—but Outta Line Fishing Charters 100% deserves one. When we first got on the boat, John, like any human being, seemed a little quiet at first. But once we got out on the water and started fishing, he really opened up. We ended up talking about fishing, jobs, careers, life, and pretty much everything in between. It was really easy to have a conversation with him, and you could tell right away that he genuinely knows what he’s doing. John was extremely knowledgeable about fishing and the area, and you could tell he wasn’t just taking us out there and hoping we got lucky. He knew where to go, what to use, how to set everything up, and was always willing to explain what we were doing and why. The fishing started off pretty slow, but one thing that really stood out to me was how dedicated John was to getting us on fish. He never seemed like he was going to just call it a day or accept that the fishing was slow. He kept working, switching things up, trying different spots, and doing whatever he could to give us the best chance at catching something. His effort eventually paid off, and we ended up catching Spanish mackerel and even got a shark! That made the trip so much more memorable, especially knowing how hard he worked to make sure we didn’t leave without getting on some fish. What really stood out to me was that John wasn’t just focused on getting us on fish—he wanted us to have a great experience overall. He was friendly, down-to-earth, and made the trip feel like we were fishing with someone we had known for a lot longer than a few hours. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing charter, I honestly couldn’t recommend Outta Line Fishing Charters enough. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or someone who doesn’t fish much at all, John will make sure you have a great time. We had an awesome trip, caught some great fish, and will definitely be booking with Outta Line again!

Captain Jon was wonderful. He was great with both of my girls, easy to talk to. knew the area well, we caught a bunch of fish and had the best time. He also filleted all the fish perfectly and fast. We will definitely book another charter with him.

Captian Jonmichael of Outta Line Fish Charters was great. We booked a 4 hr near shore trip and the captain put us on the fish quick. We caught some nice 16-18” Spanish Mackerel. We experienced the excitment of a few doubles coming in at the same time. We did loose a big fish but that is part of the excitement. Thanks to Jonmichael and Outta Line, we had a fun day.

JonMichael was great! Laidback, super friendly and kind. It was a slow day for the fish but we still caught plenty enough for us to eat. You can’t knock any captain for trying to do his job! The fish either bite or they don’t! Thats why the call it fishing not catching! Had a great half day out and as far as I’m concerned my family and I met and made a new friend! Our captain was outstanding! His boat was spotless and was well equipped with rods for everyone and more to spare. He helped everyone get set up and took extra time with the kids. We'll use him again when we come back next summer. Our first trip was well worth the wait! Our captain was very knowledgeable about the best places to fish. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience on our vacation. Went just off the shore and caught plenty of blue fish and Spanish mackerel. Switched over and caught two good sized sharks that put up quite a fight. Then back to blue fish and caught a couple more. All in a half day trip. Great boat, great captain and great for my dad and kids alike.
